• To produce healthy, happy, and beautiful Maine Coons

  • To keep quality above quantity.

  • To work with other breeders who have similar standards.

  • To actively show our cats (in TICA) as we believe showing is essential to know that our Maine Coons meet the breed standard.  Showing also provides great networking between friends & breeders.

  • If a breeding cat has a poor temperament, genetic defect, any signs of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy*disclaimer (HCM), or hip dysplasia (HD) they will NOT be a part of our program (and instead will be spayed/neutered).

  • Our breeding cats are all negative for the one known DNA mutation associated with Feline HCM.  The same can be said for the boys to whom they are bred which ensures we produced kittens that are ALL negative for the same mutation.

  • We are members of TICA's Voluntary Responsible Breeders Program.  Through this program, we follow a strict code of ethics.

  • To continually earn merit in TICA as an OUTSTANDING CATTERY.  Our home and breeding program have been inspected by our licensed veterinarian and earned a "perfect" score every year.

  • We model our program after the Code of Ethics set forth by the Maine Coon Breeders' and Fanciers' Association

  • All of our breedings are carefully planned, with every cat's pedigree kept in mind.  We believe that "in breeding" can result in unhealthy cats.

  • ALL of our cats are regularly examined and vaccinated by our vets.  We have a wonderful working relationship with our vets & their staff in both Las Vegas and St. Louis.  Feel free to contact them as a reference to the care we provide our cats & the good health they are all in.

  • To remain an active member/officer of a cat club.  I'm currently a President of The Buckeye oHIo Rollers and member of Heart of Americats.

  • I'm very proud to be the sponsor/mentor of Kaiti Dell, a junior achiever in TICA.  Kaiti helped raise our Glitter & cares for our Rowdy.

  • I am the editor of the Maine Coon Breeders & Fanciers Association's (MCBFA) newsletter The Scratch Sheet.

  • I make every attempt to keep current with the latest in feline health and breed information, as it becomes available.
