Meet Mary, aka Wild Child, aka
The Little Terrorist, aka Kay, etc... This spunky red head is the first born red to our cattery. I've had a waiting list for red tabbies and/or red tabby w/white kittens for over two years with Carol at the top of the list. Although she and Steve already had three of our beloved babies, she knew they had room for just one more! And when this little one was born at 2am, I made the phone call to let her know. Steve had always adored her mom, Lassie, and with that, she was theirs. However, I actually thought she was a "he" for the first few hours. By the time I figured it out, Carol was already attached (she really wanted a male).

Mary made her debut in the show hall at the age of 4 months old. She did pretty well considering her competition (Rusty being one of them). She brought home two finals from the weekend & we were very proud! However, Mary has a lot to say to the judges (she sounds like a wild Bengal cat in the rings) which everyone finds quite amusing. |
